John served in the British South African Police Rhodesia and retired as a Commissioned Officer in the Criminal Investigation Department.

In 1982 he joined a local loss adjusting company in Johannesburg and later opened his own company trading as John Pearson and Associates (Pty) Ltd.

Over the years John has worked extensively throughout Africa, dealing with crime related insurance claims and security surveys. He has gained extensive knowledge in the gold, diamond and precious metals industry.

Being a specialist loss adjuster, John deals with central banks, refineries, assets-in-transit but to mention a few.

He is well connected with government and security at the highest levels not only in South Africa but throughout Africa. John has been involved in high profile insurance claims and, due to his personal involvement, has succeeded in achieving substantial recoveries on behalf of underwriters.

He is well respected by the Industry and has created a strong company that hopefully will continue to grow and provide service levels and knowledge for our principles going into the future.
